Manufacturing of Structural Steel Shapes

An overview will be provided of the production process of structural steel shapes from raw materials through melting, casting, rolling and shipping. Process factors that impact the order/delivery timeline will be explained so that customers can better understand the producing mills order book process. Some of the new production processes for structural shapes will be discussed and the potential design and fabrication benefits will be explored as well.
