    Position Summary: This entry-level position will perform structural design, analysis and calculations for various industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and other structures as assigned. This position will report into our Tucson office.

    Basic Duties: • Structural design, analysis, calculations, 3d modeling and drafting for various industrial, institutional buildings and other structures as assigned. • Assistance in design, field investigations, field engineering, material take-offs, surveys, and studies to complete project goals. • Assisting in the preparation of project reports and construction documents and reviewing documents prepared by others. • Overseeing and providing direction on the design and development of structural models and structural drawings and specifications. • The position will also interact directly with structural steel detailers through the development of the detailed model and drawings. • Prepare for and obtain EIT designation (if not obtained already), and then a PE license

    Basic Qualifications: • No experience necessary • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structures. • Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects. • Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. • Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision. • Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

    Desired Qualifications: • EIT • Bilingual English / Spanish abilities • Experience with multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
