Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures under the guidance of a registered engineer;
- Opportunity to work on wide variety of structural types and projects;
- Will be trained for field experience as well as analysis and design;
- This role's responsibilities will be increased along with the individuals learning curve.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in structural design including producing drawings;
- Qualified candidates will have taken courses focused on a Structural Engineering career;
- Bachelor of Science from ABET accredited engineering program in Structural or Architectural Engineering;
- SE licensure is required;
- PE licensure preferred or the ability to sit for the exam in 12- 18 months.
- Experience within the Advanced Manufacturing market sectors including; Semiconductor, Datacenter, Cleanroom, Electrical Vehicle and Manufacturing is a plus;
- Experience with structural analysis and design software is required;
- Good communication skills are essential, both verbal and written;
- Knowledge of the following software is a plus: ADAPT Builder and PT/RT, Tekla Structural Designer, RAM Structural System (Steel and Concrete), RAM Concept, RISA 3D, SAP2000 and Revit;
- The successful candidate must be able to pass security clearance as well as a background check.
